Story Transcript:

Ko: 서울의 벚꽃 축제는 봄의 시작을 알리는 신호였다.
En: The beotkkot festival in Seoul signaled the start of spring.

Ko: 길가에는 분홍빛 꽃잎들이 흩날리고, 먹음직스러운 냄새가 공기를 가득 채웠다.
En: Pink petals fluttered along the roadside, and the air was filled with delicious scents.

Ko: 지호와 민서는 학교 일이 끝난 후 축제를 즐기러 나왔다.
En: Jiho and Minseo went out to enjoy the festival after their school day ended.

Ko: 지호는 먹거리 노점들에 벌써 마음이 팔려 있었다.
En: Jiho was already captivated by the food stalls.

Ko: "민서야, 저기 떡볶이 맛있어 보여. 사 먹고 가자," 지호가 말했다.
En: "Minseo, those tteokbokki look tasty. Let's buy some and eat first," Jiho said.

Ko: "우선 거기서 줄부터 서," 민서는 말했다.
En: "Get in line there first," Minseo replied.

Ko: 하지만 지호는 이미 다른 노점으로 눈길을 돌리고 있었다.
En: But Jiho had already turned his attention to another stall.

Ko: 지호의 충동적 성향은 종종 민서를 곤란하게 만들었다.
En: Jiho's impulsive nature often put Minseo in a difficult spot.

Ko: 갑작스러운 상황은 그때 발생했다.
En: Then an unexpected situation arose.

Ko: 지호는 무심코 자신과 똑같이 생긴 배낭을 가져가 버렸다.
En: Jiho carelessly took a backpack identical to his own.

Ko: 뒤늦게 알게 된 건, 배낭의 소유자는 외국인 관광객, 하루였다.
En: Belatedly, he realized that the backpack belonged to a foreign tourist, Haru.

Ko: "큰일 났다, 민서야!" 지호는 소리쳤다. "내 숙제가 그 안에 있어. 그거 내일 제출해야 해."
En: "This is bad, Minseo!" Jiho shouted. "My homework is in there. I have to submit it tomorrow."

Ko: 민서는 상황을 파악하고 침착하게 말했다.
En: Minseo assessed the situation and spoke calmly.

Ko: "하루를 찾아야 해. 우리 계획적으로 움직이자."
En: "We need to find Haru. Let's make a plan."

Ko: 축제는 인파로 가득했다.
En: The festival was crowded with people.

Ko: 거의 같은 배낭을 들고 있는 사람들이 많아 헷갈렸다.
En: Many were carrying nearly identical backpacks, which added to the confusion.

Ko: 지호는 집중하려 했지만 여전히 각종 노점이 눈앞에서 유혹하고 있었다.
En: Jiho tried to focus, but the various stalls continued to tempt him.

Ko: 갑자기 민서가 외쳤다. "저기, 지호! 저 사람 가방 봐!"
En: Suddenly, Minseo shouted. "There, Jiho! Look at that person's bag!"

Ko: 지호는 민서가 가리킨 쪽을 보았다.
En: Jiho looked in the direction Minseo pointed.

Ko: 과연이다, 하루가 저 멀리 걷고 있었다.
En: Indeed, Haru was walking in the distance.

Ko: 둘은 황급히 쫓아갔다.
En: They hurriedly chased after Haru.

Ko: 그들의 뒤로 수많은 꽃잎들이 날아올랐다.
En: Behind them, countless petals flew up into the air.

Ko: "기다려 주세요!" 지호가 외치며 하루에게 달려갔다.
En: "Please wait!" Jiho shouted as he ran toward Haru.

Ko: 하루는 뒤를 돌아보며 당황한 표정을 지었다.
En: Haru turned around with a startled expression.

Ko: 마침내 하루를 따라잡았다.
En: Finally, they caught up with Haru.

Ko: "이 가방 제껍니다," 지호가 숨을 헐떡이며 말했다.
En: "This bag is mine," Jiho said, panting.

Ko: 하루는 당황스러워하다가 웃음을 터뜨렸다.
En: Haru looked confused for a moment, then burst into laughter.

Ko: "아, 이럴 수가. 이미 몇 번이나 비슷한 가방을 봐서요," 하루는 웃으며 말했다.
En: "Oh, I can't believe it. I've already seen several similar bags," Haru said, laughing.

Ko: 가방을 교환하고 나서, 셋은 축제의 한편에 서서 포장마차에서 산 어묵을 함께 먹었다.
En: After exchanging the bags, the three of them stood to the side of the festival and ate eomuk from a food stall.

Ko: 지호는 스스로에게 새끼 손가락을 걸며 말했다. "앞으로는 더 조심할 거야."
En: Jiho hooked his pinky finger with his own and said, "I'll be more careful from now on."

Ko: 민서는 미소 지으며 덧붙였다. "때로는 즉흥적인 게 좋은 거야. 오늘처럼," 그러면서 하루에게 조금씩 익숙해졌다.
En: Minseo smiled and added, "Sometimes being spontaneous is good. Like today," gradually becoming more comfortable with Haru.

Ko: 그리고 이렇게 그들의 하루가 조금 더 특별하게 마무리되었다.
En: And so, their day ended a little more specially.
