Story Transcript:

Ca: Era un matí fresc i humit en plena jungla, quan en Martí i la Núria es van posar en marxa per descobrir les cascades amagades de la selva tropical.
En: It was a fresh and humid morning in the middle of the jungle, when Martí and Núria set off to discover the hidden waterfalls of the tropical forest.

Ca: Els ocells cantaven acompanyats per un vent suau que feia ballar les fulles.
En: The birds sang accompanied by a gentle breeze that made the leaves dance.

Ca: La Núria, amb la seva motxilla plena de llibres i material de recerca, estava emocionada per trobar un nou ecosistema i estudiar la seva biodiversitat.
En: Núria, with her backpack full of books and research materials, was excited to find a new ecosystem and study its biodiversity.

Ca: En Martí, al seu costat, caminava amb la càmera penjada al coll, llest per capturar tota la bellesa que trobés pel camí.
En: Martí, at her side, walked with the camera hanging around his neck, ready to capture all the beauty he found along the way.

Ca: Han decidit explorar una part remota, allunyada dels camins usuals.
En: They had decided to explore a remote part, far from the usual paths.

Ca: La Núria, encara que acostumada a la natura, es mostrava escèptica del pla d'en Martí, que insistia en seguir un sender poc conegut, segons ell, el més directe cap a les cascades.
En: Núria, although accustomed to nature, was skeptical of Martí's plan, who insisted on following a little-known trail, which he claimed was the most direct route to the waterfalls.

Ca: "Confia en mi", li va dir mentre desplegava el mapa esgrogueït que havia comprat de segona mà.
En: "Trust me," he said as he unfolded the yellowed map he had bought secondhand.

Ca: "Les roques i les fulles dibuixen el camí", va afegir amb convicció.
En: "The rocks and leaves draw the path," he added with conviction.

Ca: La densitat de la selva era asfixiant.
En: The density of the jungle was suffocating.

Ca: Les lianes s’intentaven enroscar a les seves sabates, els arbres es barrejaven creant ombres i llums, i la humitat era gairebé tangible.
En: The vines tried to wrap around their shoes, the trees intermingled creating shadows and lights, and the humidity was almost tangible.

Ca: Van topar amb un riu, on es van asseure un moment per descansar i menjar una mica.
En: They came across a river, where they sat for a moment to rest and eat a little.

Ca: Però sabien que el temps no era al seu favor.
En: But they knew that time was not on their side.

Ca: De sobte, el cel es va enfosquir i van començar a caure gotes grans i pesades.
En: Suddenly, the sky darkened and large, heavy drops began to fall.

Ca: La Núria i en Martí es van mirar nerviosos.
En: Núria and Martí looked at each other nervously.

Ca: "Vinga!
En: "Come on!"

Ca: ", va cridar en Martí, agafant la mà de la Núria i corrent cap endavant, seguits per la cortina de pluja.
En: shouted Martí, grabbing Núria's hand and running forward, followed by the curtain of rain.

Ca: Poc després, les cascades es van mostrar davant d'ells en una explosió de rugir d'aigua i esplendor natural.
En: Soon after, the waterfalls appeared before them in an explosion of roaring water and natural splendor.

Ca: Gairebé sense alè, la Núria va començar immediatament a fer apunts mentre en Martí disparava fotografia rere fotografia, atrapant l'arc de Sant Martí que es formava amb cada esquitxada d'aigua.
En: Almost out of breath, Núria immediately began taking notes while Martí shot photo after photo, capturing the rainbow that formed with each splash of water.

Ca: La pluja intensificava els colors i l'energia del lloc.
En: The rain intensified the colors and the energy of the place.

Ca: Els crits d'alegria i sorpresa es mesclaven amb el so de la cascada.
En: Their cries of joy and surprise mingled with the sound of the waterfall.

Ca: Quan va caure la nit, amb les robes xopes però el cor lleuger, van fer el camí de tornada, una llanterna petita assenyalant el camí.
En: When night fell, with their clothes soaked but their hearts light, they made their way back, a small flashlight pointing the way.

Ca: La Núria estava feliç per totes les dades recollides.
En: Núria was happy with all the data collected.

Ca: En Martí, amb la seva càmera plena de moments inoblidables, sentia que el seu llibre de fotografies començava a prendre forma.
En: Martí, with his camera full of unforgettable moments, felt his photo book beginning to take shape.

Ca: En arribar al campament, es van asseure sota un arbre gran i en Martí, esgotat, li va dir: "Ara sé que puc confiar en la meva intuïció, i tu, Núria, m’has ensenyat a no tenir por de perdre’m mentre busco bellesa".
En: Upon reaching the camp, they sat under a large tree and Martí, exhausted, said to her: "Now I know I can trust my intuition, and you, Núria, have taught me not to fear getting lost while searching for beauty."

Ca: La Núria va somriure, mirant el mapa amb ulls diferents.
En: Núria smiled, looking at the map with different eyes.

Ca: Aquesta aventura els havia canviat, no només com a exploradors, sinó també en la seva amistat i confiança mútua.
En: This adventure had changed them, not only as explorers but also in their friendship and mutual trust.

Ca: I així, el bosc, amb tot el seu misteri i dificultat, es va convertir en un record de superació i un tribut a la força de la natura i a la perseverança humana.
En: And so, the forest, with all its mystery and difficulty, became a memory of achievement and a tribute to the strength of nature and human perseverance.
