Ja: 新宿御苑の入り口をくぐると、街の喧騒はすぐに静寂へと変わります。
En: Passing through the entrance of Shinjuku Gyoen, the noise of the city quickly turns to silence.

Ja: 秋の風が心地よく、空には明るい雲が浮かんでいます。
En: The autumn breeze is pleasant, and bright clouds float in the sky.

Ja: ハルキは仕事の合間に訪れたこの場所で、少しでも心を落ち着かせたいと思っています。
En: Haruki hopes to calm his mind, even if just a little, at this place he visits during a break from work.

Ja: 彼の仕事は忙しく、毎日時間に追われています。
En: His job is busy, and he is chased by the clock every day.

Ja: 時には、深呼吸をすることさえ忘れてしまうのです。
En: Sometimes he even forgets to take a deep breath.

En: When Haruki is captivated by the flowers and stops walking, Akiko also stops to gaze at the chrysanthemums.

Ja: 「きれいですね」とアキコが声をかけました。
En: "Kirei desu ne (They're beautiful, aren't they?),” Akiko says.

Ja: 「本当にそうですね。こんなに美しい菊を見たことがありません」とハルキは答えます。
En: "Hontou ni sou desu ne (Indeed they are). I've never seen such beautiful chrysanthemums," Haruki replies.

Ja: 二人はそこから自然に会話を始めました。
En: From there, the two naturally start a conversation.

Ja: ハルキは仕事のストレスについて話し、アキコは作品作りのプレッシャーについて話します。
En: Haruki talks about the stress of his job, and Akiko talks about the pressure of creating her works.

Ja: しかし、話しているうちに二人は、お互いの状況に共感を覚え、お互いにとってこの場所がどんなに必要なものかを理解します。
