Story Transcript:

Ja: 東京、日本。すごく大きな都市です。ここに、たけしとゆみという二人の人々が住んでいます。ゆみはさえないオフィスの仕事をしています。でも、彼女の心の中には違う夢があります。それはパン屋を開くこと。
En: Tokyo, Japan. It is a very big city. Two people named Takeshi and Yumi live here. Yumi works in a dull office job. However, she has a different dream in her heart - to open a bakery.

Ja: 朝、東京の街が目覚める時、たけしはゆみを目覚まし代わりに呼び出します。「ゆみ、起きて！遅刻するよ。」と彼は言います。でも、ゆみは寝ぼけた声で、「もう辞めたい、この仕事。パン屋を開きたい。」と言います。
En: In the morning, when Tokyo wakes up, Takeshi calls out to Yumi as a substitute for an alarm clock. "Yumi, wake up! You're going to be late," he says. But Yumi, in a sleepy voice, says, "I want to quit this job. I want to open a bakery."

Ja: たけしがビックリして、彼女を見ます。ゆみは真剣な顔をしています。たけしは、「それは大変だよ。でも、君がそう言うなら、僕は君を応援するよ。」と言いました。
En: Takeshi is surprised and looks at her. Yumi has a serious expression on her face. Takeshi says, "That's tough. But if you say that, I will support you."

Ja: それから、ゆみの大冒険が始まりました。彼女はオフィスの仕事を辞めて、パン作りの教室に通いました。そして、小さなパン屋を東京の一角に開きました。
En: And so, Yumi's big adventure began. She quit her office job and started attending a bread-making class. Then, she opened a small bakery in one corner of Tokyo.

Ja: 最初は大変でした。ゆみは一日中働いて、疲れ果ててしまいました。けど、たけしは彼女を応援し続けました。「ゆみ、よくやってるよ。君のパンはおいしいよ。」とたけしは言います。
En: It was tough at first. Yumi worked all day and became exhausted. But Takeshi continued to support her. "Yumi, you're doing great. Your bread is delicious," Takeshi says.

Ja: そして、時間が経つにつれて、ゆみのパン屋は有名になりました。たけしの言葉を信じて、ゆみはパンを作ることを続けました。そして、最初の夢は叶えられました。
En: As time went by, Yumi's bakery became famous. Believing in Takeshi's words, Yumi continued to make bread. And her first dream came true.

Ja: ゆみはパン屋を開いて、幸せでした。たけしも、ゆみが幸せそうな顔を見て、嬉しそうでした。二人は一緒に夢を追いかけて、それを実現しました。そして、このお話は、ゆみとたけしが幸せになったところで終わります。
