Hu: Bálint csendben figyelt a kavargó hópelyhekre, ahogy a busz ablakán túl hullottak a földre.
En: Bálint quietly watched the swirling snowflakes as they fell to the ground beyond the bus window.

Hu: Egy új év kezdődött, és ez alkalommal valami más volt.
En: A new year had begun, and this time something was different.

Hu: Már napok óta érezte, hogy a barátságuk Emesével megváltozott, és ezt nem tudta figyelmen kívül hagyni.
En: For days, he had felt that his friendship with Emese had changed, and he couldn’t ignore it.

En: The water in the pool bubbled quietly around them.

Hu: Emese kissé elfordította a fejét.
En: Emese slightly turned her head.

Hu: „Bálint, van valami, amit nem mondtam el. Ez nehéz... De már nem titkolhatom tovább.”
En: “Bálint, there’s something I haven’t told you. It’s difficult… But I can’t keep it a secret anymore.”

Hu: Bálint nyakon találta a feszült kíváncsiság.
En: Bálint was caught by tense curiosity.

Hu: Emese mély levegőt vett, majd elmagyarázta, hogy mostanában kapott ajánlatott egy munkára külföldön.
En: Emese took a deep breath and then explained that she had recently received a job offer abroad.

Hu: Nem volt biztos abban, hogy elfogadja, mert félt, hogy mi lesz a barátságukkal.
En: She wasn’t sure whether to accept it because she feared what would happen to their friendship.
