Ca: Les onades trencaven suaument contra les roques de la Costa Brava, on el cel d'hivern es barrejava amb el mar blau.
En: The waves lapped gently against the rocks of the Costa Brava, where the winter sky blended with the blue sea.

Ca: La casa a la platja era un refugi de calor i llum, un lloc perfecte per acollir el retrobament familiar de Cap d'Any.
En: The beach house was a refuge of warmth and light, a perfect place to host the New Year's family reunion.

Ca: Al seu interior, el foc de la llar crepitava, oferint un ambient acollidor per a en Eudald, la Laia i en Martí, germans reunits per celebrar.

En: He wanted to share his concerns with his family, but he feared not being understood.

Ca: Per a ell, el Cap d'Any era un moment de reflexió, però també de por.

Ca: Temia que el nou any fos una repetició de l'anterior.

Ca: Després del dinar, quan els plats ja estaven recollits i la conversa s'havia calmat, en Eudald va veure l'oportunitat que esperava.

Ca: La Laia i en Martí estaven al sofà, xerrant tranquil·lament sobre petites fites i somnis.

Ca: "Podria parlar amb vosaltres un moment?" va preguntar en Eudald, la seva veu tremolant lleugerament.

Ca: "És clar, Eudald," va respondre en Martí, mirant el seu germà amb curiositat.
En: "Of course, Eudald," Martí replied, looking at his brother with curiosity.

Ca: Amb el sol de la tarda filtrant-se per les finestres, en Eudald va respirar profundament.
En: With the afternoon sun filtering through the windows, Eudald took a deep breath.

Ca: "Sento que estic perdut," va confessar.
En: "I feel lost," he confessed.

Ca: "Vull fer alguna cosa nova, però no sé què.
En: "I want to do something new, but I don't know what.

Ca: Em fa por que no entendríeu aquests sentiments."
En: I'm afraid you wouldn’t understand these feelings."

Ca: La Laia va allargar la mà i va agafar la d'en Eudald.
En: Laia reached out and took Eudald's hand.

Ca: "Tots tenim aquests moments, Eudald.
En: "We all have those moments, Eudald.

Ca: Jo mateixa he estat pensant a fer un canvi a la meva feina.
En: I’ve been thinking of making a change at my job myself.

Ca: I en Martí... ell també té idees."
En: And Martí... he has ideas too."

Ca: En Martí va assentir.
En: Martí nodded.

Ca: "Sí, fa temps que vull viatjar, veure si trobo alguna inspiració fora del que conec."
En: "Yes, I've been wanting to travel for a while, to see if I can find some inspiration outside what I know."

Ca: Les paraules dels seus germans van omplir en Eudald de sorpresa i alleujament.
En: His siblings’ words filled Eudald with surprise and relief.

Ca: No estava sol.
En: He was not alone.

Ca: Dins d'aquella petita trobada familiar, semblava que tots compartien aquelles inquietuds.
