Story Transcript:

Ja: 東京の精神病棟は冷たく、静かだった。
En: The psychiatric ward in Tokyo was cold and quiet.

Ja: 廊下の電灯は薄暗く、窓から冬の冷気が忍び込んでいた。
En: The hallway lights were dim, and the chill of winter crept in through the windows.

Ja: 看護師の雪は病棟を歩きながら、自分の足音が静かに響くのを聞いた。
En: As Yuki, the nurse, walked through the ward, she heard the soft echo of her footsteps.

Ja: 彼女の心は重く、最近亡くなった父のことを考えていた。
