Hu: Budapesten, a Duna halkan éneklő partján, Eszter és László szerelme virágzott fel.
En: In Budapest, along the singing shore of the Danube, the love of Eszter and László blossomed.

Hu: A vöröshajú Eszter gyönyörű volt, mint a napraforgó, és László, aki jóképű volt és mindig mosolygott, szerette őt, mint ahogy a hold szereti az éj sötét leplét.
En: Eszter, with her red hair, was beautiful like a sunflower, and László, handsome and always smiling, loved her as the moon loves the dark veil of the night.

En: As Eszter stood at the church door in her white gown and floral veil, László’s eyes filled with joy and pride.

Hu: Még várakozni kellett egy pillanatot, ezalatt a szívük is gyorsabban vert.
