Ca: Les muntanyes de Montserrat s'alçaven imponents sota el cel clar d'estiu.
En: The muntanyes de Montserrat rose imposingly under the clear summer sky.

Ca: Els pins deixaven anar el seu perfum al vent, barrejant-se amb les herbes silvestres que creixien entre les roques.
En: The pines released their scent into the wind, mixing with the wild herbs growing between the rocks.

Ca: Pere i Marta havien passat un matí ple d'aventures, gaudint dels paisatges i dels senders escarpats.
En: Pere and Marta had spent a morning full of adventures, enjoying the landscapes and rugged paths.

Ca: Però a mitja tarda, les coses van canviar.
En: But in the middle of the afternoon, things changed.

Ca: Marta, sempre amb ganes de més, havia insistit en pujar més amunt.
En: Marta, always eager for more, insisted on climbing higher.

Ca: Ara seia a terra, amb una expressió de dolor.
En: Now she sat on the ground with an expression of pain.

Ca: Però no podia deixar que la por el paralitzés ara.
En: But he couldn't let fear paralyze him now.

Ca: "Marta, hem de baixar pel camí més curt," va dir, mirant la baixada empinada que tenien per davant.
En: "Marta, we have to go down the shortest path," he said, looking at the steep descent ahead of them.

Ca: Era un camí poc transitat, però si volien arribar a temps, era la seva millor opció.
En: It was a little-traveled path, but if they wanted to get back in time, it was their best option.

Ca: Amb molta cura, Pere va ajudar Marta a posar-se dreta.
En: With great care, Pere helped Marta to stand up.

Ca: Ella recolzava el braç sobre les seves espatlles mentre començaven el descens.
En: She leaned her arm on his shoulders as they began the descent.
