Ja: 夏の蒸し暑い夜、伏見稲荷大社の入り口にはたくさんの人々が集まっていました。
En: On a hot and humid summer night, crowds of people gathered at the entrance of Fushimi Inari Taisha.

Ja: 赤い鳥居が山の道に沿って続き、祭りの提灯が光り、太鼓の音が響いていました。
En: Red torii gates lined the path up the mountain, festival lanterns glowed, and the sound of drums echoed.

Ja: この日はお盆、祖先を迎える大切な日です。
En: The day was Obon, an important occasion to welcome the ancestors.

Ja: ハルトは鳥居を見上げ、思いに沈んでいました。
En: Haruto looked up at the torii, lost in thought.

Ja: 「家族の伝統ってなんだろう？」と彼は自問しました。
En: He asked himself, "What is family tradition?"

Ja: レンは文化に興味がありながらも、すぐには信じないところがあります。
En: Ren had an interest in culture but was not quick to believe in things.

Ja: 「ハルト、本当に参加するの？こういうのって本当に信じていいのかね？」レンは疑わしげに言いました。
En: "Haruto, are you really going to join in? Can we really believe in things like this?" Ren asked skeptically.

Ja: その日、ハルトは決断しました。
En: That day, Haruto made a decision.

Ja: 一つの儀式に参加してみよう、と。
En: He decided to take part in one ritual.

Ja: 祭りの真ん中で行われるその儀式は、心を落ち着け、先祖に感謝を捧げるものです。
En: Held in the midst of the festival, this ritual was meant to calm the spirit and express gratitude to the ancestors.

Ja: ハルトは少しの不安と共に前に進みました。
En: With a bit of unease, Haruto stepped forward.

Ja: 儀式が始まると、太鼓のリズムが彼の心に響きました。
En: As the ritual began, the rhythm of the drums resonated within him.

Ja: ふとした瞬間、心の中に不思議な平和とつながりを感じました。
En: In a sudden moment, he felt a mysterious peace and connection inside.
