En: Kyiv.

Uk: Лаврська площа вкрилася білим пухнастим снігом.
En: Lavrska Square was covered with white fluffy snow.

Uk: Холодний вітер підганяє людей, які поспішно йдуть.
En: The cold wind urged people on as they hurriedly walked.

Uk: Вулиця жива від передсвяткової метушні.
En: The street was alive with the hustle and bustle before the holiday.

Uk: Тут – знаменитий базар Києво-Печерської лаври, де Оксана стоїть з довгим списком покупок.
En: Here, at the famous market of the Kyivo-Pecherska Lavra, Oksana stood with a long shopping list.

Uk: Сигнали вантажівок звучать поряд, продавці вигукують свої товари.
