Story Transcript:

Ca: El rellotge marcava les onze del matí al pis de la residència universitària de Barcelona.
En: The clock showed eleven in the morning at the university residence in Barcelona.

Ca: Oriol mirava el munt de llibres sobre la taula amb una sensació de sufocació.
En: Oriol looked at the pile of books on the table with a feeling of suffocation.

Ca: No feia més que pensar en els exàmens finals del semestre de primavera.
En: He could only think about the final exams of the spring semester.

Ca: Era hivern i el fred omplia els passadissos estrets de la residència, on sovint els estudiants s'ho passaven bé mirant els cartells de les activitats del campus.
En: It was winter, and the cold filled the narrow halls of the residence, where students often had fun looking at the posters of campus activities.

Ca: Però al seu cor, l'ansietat creixia com un mar encrespat a punt de trencar.
En: But in his heart, anxiety was growing like a choppy sea ready to break.

Ca: "Tranquil, Oriol," deia Marc, el seu company d'habitació que sempre sabia trobar el moment adequat per dir alguna cosa encoratjadora.

Ca: "Et veus capaç de tot això i més."

Ca: Aquella tarda, Júlia, la seva amiga de la biblioteca, va passar per la seva habitació.
En: That afternoon, Júlia, his friend from the library, stopped by his room.

Ca: Portava una tassa de xocolata calenta.
En: She brought a cup of hot chocolate.

Ca: "Escolta, Oriol," li va dir amb veu suau, "nosaltres estem aquí per ajudar-te.
En: "Listen, Oriol," she said softly, "we're here to help you.

Ca: Vine amb nosaltres al cafè a la cantonada.
En: Come with us to the café on the corner.

Ca: Potser et farà bé canviar d'aire."
En: Maybe it'll do you good to get a change of scenery."

Ca: Al barri de Gràcia, hi havia un petit cafè on Oriol trobava pau.
En: In the Gràcia neighborhood, there was a small café where Oriol found peace.

Ca: Aquell racó era un refugi silenciós on es podia escoltar el murmuri suau dels clients i els sorolls llunyans de la ciutat.
En: That corner was a quiet refuge where you could hear the soft murmur of customers and the distant sounds of the city.

Ca: Assegut amb Marc i Júlia, Oriol va buidar finalment el seu cor.

Ca: "Em sento desbordat," va admetre.
