Sv: Stockholm var täckt av ett tunt lager snö, och människor strömmade in till Sergels Torg för julfirandet.
En: Stockholm was covered by a thin layer of snow, and people streamed into Sergels Torg for the Christmas celebration.

Sv: Ljusslingor hängde i träden, och en stor julgran stod stolt i mitten av torget.
En: Strings of lights hung in the trees, and a large Christmas tree stood proudly in the center of the square.

Sv: Doften av glögg och rostade mandlar fyllde luften.
En: The scent of glögg and roasted almonds filled the air.

Sv: Mitt i allt detta stod Elin ensam.
En: In the midst of all this stood Elin, alone.
