Sv: Det var mörkt i staden som aldrig sover, Stockholm.
En: It was dark in the city that never sleeps, Stockholm.

Sv: I ett ljusgult trähus på Södermalm, stod Emma, Gustav och Linnea i röran.
En: In a light yellow wooden house in Södermalm, Emma, Gustav, and Linnea stood amidst the chaos.

Sv: Packade lådor stod staplade här och var, ett resultat av deras flytt.
En: Packed boxes were stacked here and there, a result of their move.

Sv: Emma såg på kartongen med IKEA-loggan på.
En: Emma looked at the box with the IKEA logo on it.

Sv: Hon öppnade den och drog fram en serie av trämönster.
En: She opened it and pulled out a set of wooden pieces.

Sv: Det var en ny hylla som skulle sättas ihop.
En: It was a new shelf that needed to be assembled.
