  • Simple Steps to Building Self-Trust

Ever feel like you’re stuck in a loop—digging a hole, falling in, climbing out… only to do it all over again?

That’s what happens when we chase quick fixes instead of building real self-trust. We get that dopamine hit from setting a big goal—signing up for the gym, buying a fancy planner, committing to a morning routine.

But then… we fall right back into old patterns…

In this week’s podcast episode, I break down how to finally break the cycle—not by doing more, but by doing less (and doing it consistently).

You must be thinking that I've gone crazy! How is that possible?

Well, I'll explain why chasing big, flashy changes doesn’t stick—and what actually does.

    The secret?

Tiny, consistent actions (like brushing your teeth—no fanfare, just habit).

This is about actual transformation—not another round of "falling and digging yourself out."

Ready to change the way you approach your goals?

    Listen to the episode now!

    Let’s build something that lasts.

P.S. What’s one small, doable habit you’re committing to this week? Hit reply and let me know!

  • Encore: What Are Feelings and How to TRULY Let Go [Step 5]

Welcome to the final step in our Getting Unstuck journey—Step 5!

Over the past few episodes, we’ve explored powerful tools for navigating your inner world and creating real change.

In this week's episode "What Are Feelings and How to TRULY Let Go," we bring it all together.

Now, it’s time to take action with a step-by-step homework assignment that ties it all together:

Your Homework for the Whole Series:

    1. Pick a Small, Measurable Goal: Choose something you’ve been procrastinating or feeling stuck about—something specific and achievable.
    2. Notice Your Thoughts, Feelings, and Sensations: As you take steps toward this goal, observe the passengers on your “bus”—those thoughts, feelings, and urges that try to hold you back.
    3. Label and Accept Them with Kindness: Write them down. Say, “I notice the thought that…” or “I notice the feeling of…” and respond with, “And that’s okay.”
    4. Find the Feeling in Your Body: Where does it show up? What does it feel like? Make space for it by imagining opening windows and letting it be.
    5. Ask Yourself, “What’s One Thing I Can Do?” Instead of battling the emotions, shift your focus to what you can do. Take one small action to move forward.

Pro Tip: Repeat this process daily or whenever you feel stuck. With practice, you’ll notice the resistance quieting down and a sense of freedom emerging.

The power of transformation lies in action, and I can’t wait to hear how this process works for you.

Share your progress with me —I’d love to celebrate your wins and answer any questions. Here’s to leaving “stuck” behind and stepping into a life of clarity, purpose, and freedom!

  • Encore: Find the Exit Door Out of Suffering [Step 4]

So, in last week’s episode—Step 3 of Getting Unstuck—we explored how to “drive your school bus.”

    Good for you!

That’s a huge step toward understanding how to navigate life’s challenges while staying grounded in who you truly are.

But let’s face it—what if the kids on the bus (a.k.a. your thoughts and emotions) are loud, angry, crying, or making impossible demands?

How do you manage all of that without losing control?

This week, we’re taking it a step further. In this fourth step of the Getting Unstuck Series, I’m introducing you to a simple yet transformative tool that will help you handle the chaos safely, calmly, and compassionately.

Whether you’re managing emotional turbulence, intrusive thoughts, or just the general overwhelm of life, this strategy is here to help you regain clarity and control.

If you’ve ever felt like your emotions are in the driver’s seat—or that your inner “school bus” is headed off the rails—this is the episode for you.

Are you ready to learn how to quiet the noise and bring peace to your inner world?

    Let’s GO!

  • Encore: How To Think About Your Thinking (and stay connected to who you truly are) [Step 3]

Do you ever feel like life pulls you in so many directions that you lose touch with who you truly are?

Or struggle to find clarity and alignment when everything around you feels overwhelming?

This week, we’re diving into Step 3 of getting unstuck: How do you stay connected with your true self?

Last week, we explored a powerful exercise to shift your perspective and help you see that you are not your thoughts and feelings. If you haven’t had a chance to listen yet, it’s a great starting point for this next step in our journey together.

So, in this week's encore episode, we’ll focus on a common challenge—how to stay true to who you really are when life gets busy and emotions take over.

Allow me to introduce you to something I call “the school bus between your ears.”

    Intriguing, right?

This metaphor has been one of the most impactful mindset tools for me and many of my clients. It will help you navigate challenges while staying true to yourself. So, if you want to know everything about the school bus analogy...

Take some time to listen—it could be the step you’ve been needing to move forward with more clarity and confidence.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and experiences with this approach.

  • Encore: You Are Not Your Thoughts Or Feelings [Step 2]

    Happy New Year! 🎉

As we step into 2025—a season of fresh beginnings and endless possibilities—I wanted to share something special with you.

Today, we’ll be doing a little experiment that could change the way you view yourself forever.

It’s a powerful exercise that will show you in real-time that you are not your thoughts or feelings.

Now imagine this: If you are not your thoughts or emotions, then who are you, really?

The answer might surprise—and even delight—you.

This exercise is your chance to break free from limiting beliefs and experience a new way of being. Once you’ve seen it for yourself, you’ll never look at yourself the same way again.

Here’s the fun part: This is a repurposed episode from one of our earlier podcasts, but it’s just as powerful today. Think of it as a New Year’s encore gift to bring clarity, peace, and a stronger sense of self into your life as we begin this new chapter.

So, grab a cup of tea, find a quiet spot, and just tune in!

Wishing you a peaceful, empowered, and inspiring start to 2025!

  • I Was a Harvard Educated Psychiatrist and then I Quit - Why I Left

I want to share something deeply personal: my journey from traditional psychiatry to helping people heal at a foundational level.

After losing my mother to suicide and stepping into a parenting role for my siblings at a young age, I had questions that shaped my life: Why do people suffer? Can we truly heal? These questions led me to psychiatry, but over time, I realized the system often felt like treating symptoms instead of the root cause.

My own healing journey taught me a powerful truth: true recovery begins by reconnecting with our bodies, calming our nervous systems, and building a solid foundation of safety within ourselves. This approach transformed my life, and now I’m dedicated to helping others do the same.

If you’re curious about my story or looking for ways to reconnect with yourself and truly heal, I’d love for you to tune in.

Listen to the episode here: [Insert Link]

That’s why I started this podcast—to share what I’ve learned, offer tools for healing, and spark meaningful conversations. If my story resonates, I’d love to hear yours. Share your story, thoughts, or questions—I’m here to listen.

    Take care,

    Kavetha
