Uk: Літній день був спекотний, і сонце пекло безжально.
En: The summer day was hot, and the sun blazed mercilessly.

Uk: Скоро всі селяни в Цибулівці зрозуміли, що справжня спека тільки починається.
En: Soon all the villagers in Tsybulivka realized that the true heat was only beginning.

Uk: Село розташоване серед зелених ланів, які тягнуться аж за обрій.
En: The village is situated among green fields that stretch beyond the horizon.

Uk: Але сьогодні їхня краса була накрита пеленою спеки, яка вібрувала в повітрі.

En: Olena returned to her native village after years of living in the city.

En: When evening finally came, everything was ready.

Uk: Селяни зібралися, наче велика сім’я.
En: The villagers gathered like a big family.

Uk: Але раптом Микола, намагаючись поділитися черговою історією, несподівано знепритомнів.
