Story Transcript:

Ja: 春の陽光が輝く京都、ここは金閣寺の庭園です。
En: In Kyoto, where the spring sunlight glistens, we find ourselves in the garden of Kinkaku-ji.

Ja: 桜の花が咲き誇り、観光客たちは美しさに見とれています。
En: Cherry blossoms are blooming in full glory, and tourists are mesmerized by their beauty.

Ja: ガイドの春人は、いつもと同じように案内を始めました。
En: Haruto, the guide, begins his tour just like he always does.

Ja: 彼は歴史的な逸話を話すのが得意です。
En: He is skilled at telling historical anecdotes.

Ja: 「金閣寺はもともと室町幕府の将軍、足利義満の別荘でした」と春人は優しい声で説明します。
En: "Kinkaku-ji was originally the villa of the Shogun of the Muromachi Bakufu, Ashikaga Yoshimitsu," Haruto explains in a gentle voice.

Ja: 今日は少し特別です。
En: Today is a bit special.

Ja: 新しい同僚の由美が初めての案内をする日です。
En: It is the first day that his new colleague, Yumi, will be leading a tour.

Ja: 由美は金閣寺についてたくさん勉強しました。しかし、初めてのガイドに少し緊張しています。

En: "It's all right, Yumiさん. Let's take it step by step. I'll support you," Haruto assures her kindly.

Ja: 観光客が集まります。
En: Tourists are gathering.

Ja: ゴールデンウィークの観光ラッシュで団体は大きいです。
En: Because of the Golden Week tourist rush, the group is large.

Ja: 由美は深呼吸をし、笑顔で話し始めます。
En: Yumi takes a deep breath and starts speaking with a smile.

Ja: 「皆さん、こんにちは。今日はようこそ金閣寺へ。」
En: "Hello everyone, welcome to Kinkaku-ji today."

Ja: 春人は由美のそばでにこにこと安心感を与えます。
En: Haruto stands by Yumi's side, providing reassurance with a smile.

Ja: 庭園を歩きながら、彼は由美に小さなヒントを渡し続けます。
En: As they walk through the garden, he continues to give her small tips.

Ja: 「ここで話すときは少し間を取りましょう」とアドバイス。
En: "When you speak here, take a little pause," he advises.

Ja: 突然、一人の観光客が質問をしました。
En: Suddenly, a tourist asks a question.

Ja: 「金閣寺はなぜ三階建てなのですか？」

En: At the end of the tour, the tourists compliment Yumi by saying, "You did great!"
