Es: Hace mucho, en un pequeño pueblo de España, María, Antonio y Carlos esperaban ansiosos la gran fiesta local.
En: Long ago, in a small town in Spain, María, Antonio and Carlos were looking forward to the big local party.

Es: Desde hace semanas, estaban ensayando su baile flamenco para participar en el concurso cómico de baile.
En: For weeks, they have been rehearsing their flamenco dance to participate in the comic dance contest.

Es: ¡Estaban seguros de que harían reír a todo el mundo!
En: They were sure to make everyone laugh!

Es: La noche del concurso finalmente llegó.
En: Quiz night finally arrived.

Es: La plaza del pueblo estaba llena de personas, todas emocionadas por ver qué divertidas sorpresas les deparaba la noche.
En: The town square was full of people, all excited to see what fun surprises the night had in store for them.
