Story Transcript:

Hu: Egy szép napsütéses délután András és Eszter Budapesten ültek a nyelvóra szobájában.
En: On a beautiful sunny afternoon, András and Eszter were sitting in the language class room in Budapest.

Hu: A magyar szavak kiejtése volt a téma, és mindketten nagyon igyekeztek jól csinálni.
En: The topic was the pronunciation of Hungarian words, and both tried very hard to do it well.

Hu: András kezdte: „Kampót”, mondta a tanár.
En: András began: "Kampó", said the teacher.

Hu: „Kampót,” ismételte András, de valamiért nem jött ki jól a hangsúly.
En: "Kampót," repeated András, but for some reason the emphasis did not come out well.

Hu: Eszter kipróbálta: „Kampót”.
En: Eszter tried: "Kampó".

Hu: Mindketten megpróbálták még egyszer, de a hangok furcsán csattogtak ki a szájukból, ami nevetést váltott ki a többi osztálytársból.
En: They both tried again, but the sounds came out of their mouths strangely, causing laughter from the other classmates.

Hu: András és Eszter próbáltak koncentrálni, de minél jobban igyekeztek, annál viccesebbek lettek a kiejtési hibáik.
En: András and Eszter tried to concentrate, but the harder they tried, the funnier their pronunciation mistakes became.

Hu: A társak egyre jobban nevetgéltek, és az egész terem megtelt vidámsággal.
En: The companions laughed more and more, and the whole room was filled with merriment.

Hu: Andrásra és Eszterre is mosoly ült ki, és rájöttek, hogy a nyelvtanulás nem mindig komoly és szigorú, hanem lehet mulatságos is.
En: Both András and Eszter smiled and realized that language learning is not always serious and strict, but can also be fun.

Hu: Végül, a tanár megállt mellettük és jelentette, hogy ideje abbahagyni a nevetést és folytatni az órát.
En: Finally, the teacher stopped by them and signaled that it was time to stop laughing and continue with the lesson.

Hu: András és Eszter felálltak, és a mosoly még mindig az arcukon volt.
En: András and Eszter stood up, and the smiles were still on their faces.
