Sv: Vinden susade mjukt genom trädtopparna i den svenska landsbygden.
En: The wind softly rustled through the treetops in the Swedish countryside.

Sv: Det var den första dagen på sommarlovet, och Lennart, en nyfiken tolvårig pojke, var full av energi.
En: It was the first day of summer vacation, and Lennart, a curious twelve-year-old boy, was full of energy.

Sv: Han hade en vision om den perfekta Midsommarfirandet för sin familj och sina vänner.
En: He had a vision of the perfect Midsommar celebration for his family and friends.

Sv: Men nu, bara några dagar före Midsommarafton, visade väderprognosen på regn.
En: But now, just a few days before Midsommarafton, the weather forecast showed rain.

Sv: "Något måste vi göra," tänkte Lennart när han såg upp mot himlen.
En: "We must do something," thought Lennart as he looked up at the sky.

Sv: Molnen började redan samla sig.
En: The clouds were already gathering.

Sv: Hans syskon, Eva och deras kusin Sofia, var ute på ängen, plockande blommor för att göra kransar.
En: His siblings, Eva and their cousin Sofia, were out in the meadow, picking flowers to make wreaths.

Sv: Eva var ansvarsfull och förutseende.
En: Eva was responsible and foresightful.

Sv: Hon älskade att planera och hålla ordning.
En: She loved planning and keeping things in order.

Sv: Men hon var inte helt övertygad om Lennarts idé att flytta festen.
En: But she wasn't entirely convinced by Lennart's idea to move the party.
