Fr: Dans un petit café du centre-ville, Pierre, Marie et Antoine étaient confortablement installés autour d'une table.
En: In a small downtown cafe, Pierre, Marie and Antoine were comfortably seated around a table.

Fr: Ils sirotaient leur café en commentant les derniers potins juteux de la ville.
En: They sipped their coffee while commenting on the latest juicy gossip in town.

Fr: Tout à coup, ils entendirent une conversation animée provenant de la table voisine.
En: Suddenly, they heard a lively conversation coming from the next table.

Fr: Curieux, ils commencèrent à écouter discrètement la conversation.
