Story Transcript:

En: The afternoon began to be tinged with orange hues as Carmelo and Jimena walked through the heart of the Museo de Ciencias.

En: The corridors were filled with echoes of footsteps and curious murmurs.

En: The leaves were beginning to fall in the streets of Buenos Aires, marking autumn with its particular charm, and inside the museum, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

En: Carmelo, with his bright eyes and restless mind, guided Jimena to the dinosaur section.

En: The fossilized skeletons stood imposing under the soft lighting that gave the creatures a mystical appearance.

En: Jimena followed him closely, more concerned about the time that was quickly passing.

This is a Tiranosaurio Rex," exclaimed Carmelo, pointing to a huge skeleton.

En: "I've always wanted to see one up close."

En: Jimena smiled, but then checked her watch.

Es: "Carmelo, pronto cerrarán el museo. Debemos irnos."
En: "Carmelo, they'll close the museum soon. We must leave."

En: However, Carmelo was absorbed in his thoughts.

En: He stopped in front of an interactive panel, unaware of the closing announcements softly echoing through the museum speakers.

Es: Los minutos pasaron volando.
En: The minutes flew by.

En: Suddenly, the museum lights flickered, and a voice announced the definite closing time.

En: But Carmelo, lost in his fascination, didn't hear.

En: It was only when the guard roamed the empty rooms that Jimena realized the problem: they were trapped.

En: "Carmelo, do you realize what happened?" said Jimena, somewhat anxious.

Es: "Nos han dejado dentro."
En: "They've left us inside."

En: Carmelo blinked, confused, seeing the lights go out and the echo of their voices resonating in the empty rooms.

Es: "Oh no... ¿qué hacemos ahora?"
En: "Oh no... what do we do now?"

En: They could ask for help by alerting security, but that would mean getting into trouble.

Es: No, tenía que haber otra manera.
En: No, there had to be another way.

En: Suddenly, she remembered seeing a discreet door behind the T-Rex skeleton.

Es: "¡Podríamos usar esa puerta de mantenimiento!"
En: "We could use that maintenance door!"

Es: Avanzaron cuidadosamente, calculando cada paso.
En: They advanced carefully, calculating each step.

En: Jimena pushed the door and found a narrow corridor.

En: The exit was near, but first, they had to pass under the huge skeleton.

En: "This is exciting, almost like an adventure," Jimena whispered as they ducked under the Tiranosaurio Rex.

Es: Finalmente, alcanzaron la salida.
En: Finally, they reached the exit.

En: The door opened to the outside, and the fresh night air greeted them.

En: Carmelo smiled broadly, excited about the experience.

I should pay more attention to the closing times," admitted Carmelo, still amazed by what they had experienced.

En: Jimena laughed, feeling an unexpected spark of adventure inside her.

En: "We should do it more often... but without getting trapped."

En: Both walked away from the museum, satisfied with their unexpected afternoon.

En: The night enveloped the city as they lost themselves among the rustle of dry leaves, knowing that the next adventure would find them prepared.

En: And that night, Carmelo promised to be a little more attentive.
