Pl: Pewnego popołudnia, w środku letniej Warszawy tętniącej życiem wszedł Marek.
En: One afternoon, in the midst of a vibrant summer Warsaw, Marek entered.

Pl: Był to sympatyczny mężczyzna o niebieskich oczach, niski i zgrabny.
En: He was a friendly man with blue eyes, short and agile.

Pl: Przyjechał z małego miasteczka.
En: He came from a small town.

Pl: Po raz pierwszy w życiu był w tym wielkim mieście.
En: It was his first time in this big city.

Pl: Przybył do stolicy z okazji zawodów w biegach, które odbywały się na Stadionie Narodowym.
En: He arrived in the capital for a running competition taking place at the National Stadium.

Pl: Od dziecka jego pasją był sport, a Warszawa była miejscem, w którym miał szansę na spełnienie swojego marzenia.
En: Sports had been his passion since childhood, and Warsaw was the place where he had the chance to fulfill his dream.

Pl: Przez cały dzień był zajęty przygotowaniami do zawodów.
En: He spent the entire day preparing for the competition.

Pl: Gdy nadeszła noc, Marek zdecydował się na spacer po mieście.
En: When night fell, Marek decided to take a walk around the city.

Pl: Tłumy ludzi, światła, ogromne budynki i ulice pełne samochodów przyprawiły go o zawrót głowy.
En: The crowds of people, the lights, the massive buildings, and the streets filled with cars made his head spin.

Pl: Zszedł do metra, odwiedził Pałac Kultury i Nauki, a następnie zszedł na Starówkę.
En: He descended into the subway, visited the Palace of Culture and Science, and then went down to the Old Town.

Pl: Chłonął atmosferę miasta, ciesząc się każdą chwilą.
En: He absorbed the city's atmosphere, enjoying every moment.

Pl: Jednak nie zauważył, że z każdym krokiem oddala się coraz bardziej od hotelu, w którym się zatrzymał.
En: However, he didn't notice that with each step, he was getting further away from the hotel where he was staying.

Pl: Kiedy zorientował się, że nie wie, jak wrócić, na niebie zdążyły już pojawić się pierwsze gwiazdy.
En: When he realized that he didn't know how to get back, the first stars had already appeared in the sky.

Pl: Początkowo nie był przerażony.
En: Initially, he wasn't frightened.

Pl: W końcu miał telefon komórkowy ze sobą.
En: After all, he had his cell phone with him.

Pl: Jednak gdy sprawdził, zobaczył, że jego bateria jest na wykończeniu.
En: But when he checked, he saw that his battery was running out.

Pl: Poinformował o swojej sytuacji najbliższą rodzinę i przyjaciół, po czym telefon się wyłączył.
En: He informed his closest family and friends about his situation and then the phone turned off.

Pl: Marka ogarnęło zaniepokojenie.
En: Worry consumed Marek.

Pl: Znalazł się w obcym mieście, bez pieniędzy i telefonu.
En: He found himself in a foreign city, without money or a phone.

Pl: Usiadł na ławce, próbując pomyśleć.
En: He sat on a bench, trying to think.

Pl: Nagle, spostrzegł panią sprzedającą drobne przedmioty na pobliskim straganie.
En: Suddenly, he noticed a woman selling small items at a nearby stall.

Pl: Podszedł do niej, opowiedział o swojej sytuacji.
En: He approached her and told her about his situation.

Pl: Pani była bardzo wyrozumiała, zaoferowała mu mapę miasta.
En: The lady was very understanding and offered him a city map.

Pl: Dzięki niej, Marek zobaczył, że nie jest tak daleko od swojego hotelu, jak początkowo myślał.
En: Thanks to it, Marek realized that he wasn't as far from his hotel as he initially thought.

Pl: Wykorzystując mapę, udało mu się znaleźć właściwy kierunek.
En: Using the map, he managed to find the right direction.

Pl: Droga powrotna do hotelu była długa i męcząca, ale w końcu udało mu się dotrzeć na miejsce.
En: The journey back to the hotel was long and exhausting, but he finally made it.

Pl: Był przemęczony, ale szczęśliwy.
En: He was tired but happy.

Pl: Zdał sobie sprawę, że nawet w najtrudniejszej sytuacji można sobie poradzić, jeżeli tylko nie panikujemy i korzystamy z dostępnych nam środków.
En: He realized that even in the most difficult situations, one can manage if they don't panic and make use of the resources available to them.

Pl: Ta przygoda nauczyła Marka, że zawsze trzeba być przygotowanym na niespodziewane sytuacje.
En: This adventure taught Marek that one must always be prepared for unexpected situations.

Pl: Od tamtego dnia, zawsze nosił ze sobą naładowany telefon i małą mapę, wszędzie, gdzie by nie poszedł.
En: Since that day, he always carried a charged phone and a small map with him wherever he went.

Pl: Ale przede wszystkim, zrozumiał, że odwaga i determinacja są kluczem do pokonywania wszelkich trudności.
En: But above all, he understood that courage and determination are the keys to overcoming all difficulties.
