Hu: A nap hideg reggele még alig tört utat a pesti utcák között, amikor Gábor és Zsuzsa a Nagyvásárcsarnok felé igyekeztek.
En: The cold morning sun had barely broken through the streets of Pest when Gábor and Zsuzsa headed towards the Nagyvásárcsarnok.

Hu: A tömeg lüktetett körülöttük, az emberek igyekeztek megvenni a heti árut, karácsony előtti hangulattal körülölelve a piacot.
En: The crowd pulsed around them as people hurried to buy their weekly goods, the market enveloped in a pre-Christmas atmosphere.

Hu: Nem volt ünnep, mégsem hiányzott a felfokozott izgalom.
En: It wasn't a holiday, yet the heightened excitement was present.

Hu: Gábornál mindig ott volt a nagymamája régi brossa.
En: Gábor always had his grandmother's old brooch with him.
