Uk: Зима вкутує Київ білою ковдрою.
En: Winter envelops Kyiv in a white blanket.

Uk: Світлана стоїть на краю Різдвяного ярмарку, очі її блищать від захоплення.
En: Svitlana stands at the edge of the Christmas market, her eyes shining with excitement.

Uk: Вона тут вперше і відчуває, як серце б'ється у такт веселому гомону ярмарку.
En: She is here for the first time and feels her heart beating in rhythm with the cheerful hustle of the market.

Uk: Дми́тро, її двоюрідний брат, пильнує за нею.
En: Dmytro, her cousin, keeps a watchful eye on her.

Uk: Він живе в Києві і знає це місто, як свої п'ять пальців.
En: He lives in Kyiv and knows the city like the back of his hand.

Uk: "Світлано, ти ж бачиш, як тут людно.
En: "Svitlana, you see how crowded it is here.

Uk: Обережно, не загубись!
En: Be careful not to get lost!"

Uk: " - каже він, глянувши на годинник.
En: he says, glancing at his watch.

Uk: "Не хвилюйся, Дми́тро," - відповідає вона, ховаючи телефон у кишеню.
En: "Don't worry, Dmytro," she replies, tucking her phone into her pocket.

Uk: "Хочу запам'ятати цей день на все життя!
En: "I want to remember this day for the rest of my life!"

Uk: "На ярмарку пахне смаженими каштанами та гарячим глінтвейном.
En: The market smells of roasted chestnuts and hot mulled wine.

Uk: У повітрі в'ються аромати випічки.
En: The air is filled with the aromas of baked goods.

Uk: Насолода для всіх почуттів.
En: A delight for all senses.

Uk: Світлана просувається через натовп, збиваючи сніг з чобіт.
En: Svitlana moves through the crowd, brushing snow off her boots.

Uk: Мороз кусає за ніс, але це її не зупиняє.
En: The frost bites her nose, but it doesn't stop her.

Uk: Вона підходить до одного з прилавків, де з великим захопленням продають дерев'яні іграшки.
En: She approaches one of the stalls where wooden toys are being sold with great enthusiasm.

En: Behind the stall stands Oksana.

Uk: "Привіт!
En: "Hello!

Uk: Яка у вас гарна колекція," - посміхається Світлана.
En: You have a beautiful collection," Svitlana smiles.

Uk: "Дякую!
En: "Thank you!

Uk: Це мої власні вироби," - гордо відповідає Оксана.
En: These are my own creations," Oksana replies proudly.

Uk: "Колись мрію відкрити свою лавку.
En: "I dream of opening my own shop someday."

Uk: ""Це було б чудово!
En: "That would be wonderful!

Uk: А можете розказати про якісь традиції?
En: Could you tell me about some traditions?

Uk: Дуже цікаво.
En: I'm very curious."

Uk: "Оксана із задоволенням починає пояснювати, як українці святкують Різдво і співають колядки.
En: Oksana happily begins to explain how Ukrainians celebrate Christmas and sing carols.

Uk: Раптом навколо них утворюється невеличкий хор, і всі починають разом співати.
En: Suddenly, a small choir forms around them, and everyone starts singing together.

Uk: Світлана зупиняється, зачарована кожною нотою.
