Story Transcript:

Hu: A téli nap fénye megcsillant a Dunakanyar ősi romjain.
En: The winter sun's light glistened on the ancient ruins of the Dunakanyar.

Hu: Zoltán, Eszter és István hárman ballagtak a hóval borított kövek között, amikor Eszter hirtelen megállt.
En: Zoltán, Eszter, and István were ambling among the snow-covered stones when Eszter suddenly stopped.

Hu: "Zoltán, elvesztettem a karácsonyi ajándékot!
En: "Zoltán, I've lost the Christmas gift!"

Hu: " mondta aggodalmasan, s elkezdett a hóba nézni.
En: she said anxiously and began looking into the snow.

Hu: Az erdő csendje körülvette őket, csak a patak halk csobogása hallatszott a távolból.
En: The silence of the forest surrounded them, only the faint babbling of a stream was audible from afar.

Hu: Zoltán, aki mindennél jobban ügyelni akart arra, hogy Eszter boldog legyen, azonnal készen állt segíteni.
En: Zoltán, who wanted more than anything to ensure Eszter was happy, was immediately ready to help.

Hu: "Ne aggódj, Eszter!
En: "Don't worry, Eszter!

Hu: Megtalálom!
En: I will find it!"

Hu: " jelentette ki határozottan, bár a jeges, csúszós talaj nem sok jót ígért.
En: he declared confidently, although the icy, slippery ground promised little good.

Hu: István, a csapat humora, szkeptikusan figyelte barátját.
En: István, the humorist of the group, watched his friend skeptically.

Hu: „Zoltán, biztos vagy benne, hogy jó ötlet a romok közt kotorászni?
En: "Zoltán, are you sure it's a good idea to rummage among the ruins?

Hu: Egyikünk se jártas a régiségekben” jegyezte meg száraz humorral.
En: None of us are experts in antiquities," he remarked with dry humor.

Hu: Zoltán elszántan elkezdett kutakodni a kövek között.
En: Zoltán resolutely began searching among the stones.

Hu: Eszter szorosan követte őt, nem akarta szem elől téveszteni a reményt.
En: Eszter followed him closely, not wanting to lose sight of hope.

Hu: A hideg levegő élesen csípte az arcukat.
En: The cold air sharply bit their faces.

Hu: Ahogy Zoltán egy öreg boltíves kapu alá hajolt, valamit észrevett: egy kicsi tárgy ragyogott a hó alatt.
En: As Zoltán leaned under an old arched gate, he noticed something: a small object gleamed under the snow.

Hu: Elővette, és diadalmasan felkiáltott: "Megvan az ajándék!
En: He picked it up and exclaimed triumphantly, "I found the gift!"

Hu: "De amikor Eszter közelebb lépett, hogy jobban szemügyre vegye, észrevette, hogy az a kis tárgy valójában egy ősi figura, nem az elvesztett ajándék.
En: But when Eszter stepped closer to see it more clearly, she noticed that the little object was actually an ancient figure, not the lost gift.

Hu: Zoltán arca piros lett a szégyentől, mire barátai nevetésben törtek ki.
En: Zoltán's face turned red with embarrassment, provoking laughter from his friends.

Hu: „Hát, Zoltán,” mondta István nevetve, „legalább egy új barátot szereztél a múltból!
En: "Well, Zoltán," said István with a laugh, "at least you made a new friend from the past!"

Hu: ”Eszter hangja lágy volt és megértő.
En: Eszter's voice was gentle and understanding.

Hu: "Ne aggódj, Zoltán.
En: "Don't worry, Zoltán.

Hu: Az ajándék itt van, a kövek mellett.
En: The gift is right here, beside the stones."

Hu: " Ahogy rámutatott, a hó alól éppen kilógott az ajándék sarka.
En: As she pointed, the corner of the gift was just peeking out from under the snow.

Hu: Zoltán megrázta a fejét, nevetve csatlakozott a többiekhez.
En: Zoltán shook his head and joined in the laughter with the others.

Hu: Miközben visszatértek a városba, Zoltán megtanulta, hogy az együtt töltött pillanatok fontosabbak, mint bármilyen ajándék.
En: As they returned to the city, Zoltán learned that the moments spent together were more important than any gift.
