Ca: Era un dia assolellat a Barcelona, i en Martí i la Laura havien decidit trobar-se en un cafè per passar una estona agradable.
En: It was a sunny day in Barcelona, and Martí and Laura had decided to meet in a cafe to spend a pleasant time.

Ca: Amb una taula a la terrassa, podien gaudir de l'animació del carrer, mentre intentaven mantenir una conversa en català.
En: With a table on the terrace, they could enjoy the animation of the street, while trying to hold a conversation in Catalan.

Ca: Tot i ser parlants no nadius, estaven decidits a millorar el seu domini de la llengua.
En: Despite being non-native speakers, they were determined to improve their command of the language.

Ca: A mida que començaven a parlar, es van adonar ràpidament d'un petit problema que tenien.
En: As they started talking, they quickly realized a small problem they had.

Ca: En Martí just havia après a pronunciar correctament els sons "ai" i "ei", però encara trobava dificultats amb algunes paraules.

Ca: Era com si el seu amor per la llengua catalana i el seu sentit de l'humor compartit els unissin en un nivell més profund.
En: It was as if their love for the Catalan language and their shared sense of humor united them on a deeper level.

Ca: Finalment, quan el sol començava a pondre's, van decidir finalitzar la seva estona al cafè.
En: Finally, as the sun began to set, they decided to end their time at the cafe.

Ca: Es van acomiadar amb un fort abraçada i van quedar d'acord en tornar a trobar-se per seguir millorant el seu català.
