Fr: Marcel, un homme simple et tranquille, est allé à Paris pour la première fois.
En: Marcel, a simple and tranquil man, went to Paris for the first time.

Fr: Paris, oh, cette belle ville d'amour et de lumière!
En: Paris, oh, this beautiful city of love and light!

Fr: Les rues étaient pleines de vie.
En: The streets were full of life.

Fr: Les odeurs des croissants fraîchement cuits et du café fort étaient partout.
En: The smells of freshly baked croissants and strong coffee were everywhere.

Fr: Un soir, Marcel est allé dîner dans un restaurant chic.
En: One evening, Marcel went to have dinner at a fancy restaurant.

Fr: Tout était nouveau pour Marcel.
En: Everything was new to Marcel.
