Ca: A Barcelona, a la tardor, la pluja comença sense avisar.
En: In Barcelona, in the autumn, the rain starts without warning.

Ca: Els núvols grisos cobreixen el cel, i les gotes cauen amb força sobre els carrers.
En: Gray clouds cover the sky, and the drops fall heavily on the streets.

Ca: Les llums dels fanals brillen difoses per l'aigua.
En: The lights of the streetlamps shine diffused through the water.

Ca: Martí, un home decidit de trenta-i-pocs anys, camina per aquests carrers.
En: Martí, a determined man in his early thirties, walks through these streets.

Ca: Té el cor encongit perquè ha perdut el rellotge del seu avi.
En: His heart is heavy because he has lost his grandfather's watch.
