Story Transcript:

Ca: Era una tarda de dilluns quan Marta i el seu amic Jordi van decidir anar a buscar un entrepà per dinar.
En: It was a Monday afternoon when Marta and her friend Jordi decided to go find a sandwich for lunch.

Ca: Van anar a una fleca local que sempre era plena de gent.
En: They went to a local bakery that was always full of people.

Ca: Quan van arribar a la botiga, van fer una llarga cua per arribar al taulell on podien fer les comandes.
En: When they arrived at the store, they stood in a long line to get to the counter where they could place their orders.

Ca: "Què vols per dinar?
En: "What do you want for lunch?"

Ca: " va preguntar Marta a Jordi.
En: Marta asked Jordi.

Ca: "Un entrepà de coca!
En: "A cake sandwich!"

Ca: " va respondre ell.
En: he answered.

Ca: Marta va escoltar malament i va demanar "un entrepà de caca" al panader.
En: Marta misheard and ordered "a poo sandwich" from the baker.

Ca: El panader va mirar-la amb una mica de confusió, però va fer l'entrepà de totes maneres.
En: The baker looked at her with some confusion, but made the sandwich anyway.

Ca: Marta i Jordi van recollir els seus entrepans, van dir "gràcies" al panader i van sortir de la botiga.
En: Marta and Jordi collected their sandwiches, said "thank you" to the baker and left the store.

Ca: Quan van aixecar la teca dels seus entrepans, Marta es va adonar del que havia passat.
En: When they lifted the teak from their sandwiches, Marta realized what had happened.

Ca: Va mirar cap a Jordi i li va dir: "Oh no!
En: He looked over at Jordi and said, "Oh no!

Ca: Vaig demanar un entrepà de caca en lloc d'un entrepà de coca!
En: I ordered a poo sandwich instead of a coke sandwich!"

Ca: "Jordi va fer una cara dolenta i va dir: "Oh Marta, per què sempre et passes malament amb les paraules?
En: Jordi made a bad face and said: "Oh Marta, why do you always have a hard time with words?"

Ca: "Marta va riure i va dir: "No ho sé, espero que almenys tinguin un entrepà de coca per a mi.
En: Marta laughed and said, "I don't know, I hope they at least have a coke sandwich for me."

Ca: "Van tornar a la fleca i van explicar la situació al panader.
En: They returned to the bakery and explained the situation to the baker.

Ca: El panader els va fer l'entrepà de coca correcte i van tornar a casa a disfrutar del seu dinar.
En: The baker made them the correct cake sandwich and they went home to enjoy their lunch.

Ca: Tot i que Marta va cometre un error, van tenir una aventura divertida i van gaudir d'un bon entrepà.
En: Although Marta made a mistake, they had a fun adventure and enjoyed a good sandwich.

Ca: Van aprendre que és important escoltar bé i parlar amb claredat per evitar malentesos.
En: They learned that it is important to listen well and speak clearly to avoid misunderstandings.
