Story Transcript:

Ja: 秋の午後、富士山の麓で紅葉が鮮やかに色づいていました。
En: On an autumn afternoon, the foliage at the base of Mt. Fuji was vividly colored.

Ja: ハルト、ミユキ、そしてタケシの三人は、月見祭りを楽しむために山の村を訪れていました。
En: Haruto, Miyuki, and Takeshi visited the mountain village to enjoy the Moon Viewing Festival.

Ja: ハルトは熱心な登山家でしたが、今回は少し無理をしてしまいました。
En: Haruto, an enthusiastic mountain climber, was overexerting himself a bit this time.

Ja: 彼は友人たちに迷惑をかけたくありませんでした。
En: He didn’t want to trouble his friends.

Ja: 始まりは順調でしたが、ハルトの足首の痛みは次第にひどくなっていきました。

Ja: ミユキが心配そうに言いました。「ハルト、大丈夫？足が本当に痛そうよ。」

Ja: 彼女はハルトの様子を見ればすぐにわかりました。
En: She could tell immediately by looking at him.

Ja: 彼女は応急手当が得意で、ハルトの足を支えるためにサポートすることを提案しました。
En: She was good at first aid and suggested supporting Haruto's foot.

Ja: しかしハルトは頑固でした。
En: But Haruto was stubborn.

Ja: 「大丈夫だよ。終わらせたいんだ」と答えました。
En: "I'm fine. I want to see this through," he replied.

Ja: 彼は自分に証明したかったのです。自分の力を。
En: He wanted to prove it to himself—his own strength.

Ja: 隣でタケシはにこやかに言いました。「でも、無理しちゃだめだよ。
En: Next to him, Takeshi said cheerfully, "But don't push yourself too hard.

Ja: 僕たち、ここで楽しむ方法を考えようよ。」
En: Let's think of ways to enjoy our time here."

Ja: ちょうどその時、彼らは月が美しく浮かぶポイントに到着しました。
En: Just then, they arrived at a point where the moon beautifully appeared.

Ja: 月は高く、彼らの頭上で輝いていました。
En: The moon shone brightly high above them.

Ja: この特別な夜、ハルトは助けを求めることが友情を強めるということを学びました。
En: On this special night, Haruto learned that seeking help strengthens friendship.
