Uk: Восени, в теплому світлі затишної хатинки, загубленій серед Карпатських гір, зібралася невелика компанія.
En: In the fall, in the warm light of a cozy cottage hidden among the Karpaty mountains, a small group gathered.

Uk: Надія, уважна археологиня, замислено дивилася у вікно.
En: Nadiya, a thoughtful archaeologist, gazed pensively out the window.

Uk: За вікном багряніли осінні дерева, а над ними нависали важкі снігові хмари.
En: Outside, the autumn trees glowed crimson, and heavy snow clouds loomed above them.
