Fr: Pierre est là, perché au-dessus de Paris, au sommet de la Tour Eiffel.
En: Pierre is there, perched above Paris, at the top of the Eiffel Tower.

Fr: Il voit toute la ville étalée devant lui, les lumières miroitant sous le ciel bleu foncé.
En: He sees the whole city spread out before him, the lights shimmering under the dark blue sky.

Fr: Pierre est à Paris pour la première fois de sa vie.
En: Pierre is in Paris for the first time in his life.

Fr: Il est excité mais effrayé aussi.
En: He is excited but also scared.
