Ja: 東京スカイツリーは、冬の冷たい空にそびえ立っていた。
En: The Tokyo Skytree stood tall against the cold winter sky.

Ja: その日は新年。
En: It was New Year's Day.

Ja: 東京中が年始の喜びと活気に満ちていた。
En: All of Tokyo was filled with the joy and liveliness of the beginning of the year.
