Fr: Paris, la ville de la lumière.
En: Paris, the city of light.

Fr: Pierre est là, il vient d'arriver du Canada.
En: Pierre is there, having just arrived from Canada.

Fr: Sa première décision ?
En: His first decision?

Fr: Prendre un selfie avec la Tour Eiffel en arrière-plan.
En: Take a selfie with the Eiffel Tower in the background.

Fr: Il prend son téléphone, tourne le dos à la Tour et étire son bras.
En: He takes out his phone, turns his back to the Tower, and stretches his arm.

Fr: Après quelques ajustements, il est prêt à prendre la photo.
En: After a few adjustments, he is ready to take the photo.

Fr: Soudain, le bruit des ailes du pigeon résonne dans ses oreilles et juste à temps, un pigeon photobombe son selfie.

Fr: "Il faut faire attention, Pierre" dit Gabrielle doucement, d'une voix teintée de surprise et d'amusement.
En: "Be careful, Pierre," Gabrielle says softly, her voice filled with surprise and amusement.

Fr: Pierre est embarrassé.
En: Pierre feels embarrassed.

Fr: Alors qu'il s'excuse, Gabrielle aperçoit le selfie avec le pigeon en arrière-plan.
En: As he apologizes, Gabrielle notices the selfie with the pigeon in the background.

Fr: Elle éclate de rire et Pierre, après un moment, se joint à elle.
En: She bursts into laughter and after a moment, Pierre joins her.

Fr: Ils passent le reste de la journée ensemble, en se promenant dans Paris, en profitant de la beauté de la ville.
En: They spend the rest of the day together, walking around Paris, enjoying the beauty of the city.
