Es: El aire estaba frío en el Parque de la Ciutadella, pero el sol brillaba suavemente.
En: The air was cold in the Parque de la Ciutadella, but the sun was shining softly.

Es: Las hojas de los árboles se habían caído y las ramas desnudas contrastaban con el cielo azul.
En: The leaves of the trees had fallen, and the bare branches contrasted with the blue sky.

Es: Marina, Rafael y Lucía decidieron disfrutar de un picnic improvisado.
En: Marina, Rafael, and Lucía decided to enjoy an impromptu picnic.

Es: Extendieron una manta sobre el césped mojado y sacaron bocadillos y una botella de vino.
En: They spread a blanket over the wet grass and took out sandwiches and a bottle of wine.

Es: Marina miraba a sus amigos con una mezcla de admiración y desánimo.

Es: Marina respiró hondo.
En: Marina took a deep breath.

Es: Sabía que sus amigos siempre la apoyaban, pero temía que su poesía no fuera suficientemente buena.
