Pl: Kazimierz, Anya i Jakub stali na skraju ruin starożytnego miasta Pompejów.
En: Kazimierz, Anya, and Jakub stood on the edge of the ruins of the ancient city of Pompeii.

Pl: Zima przyniosła chłodny wiatr i mgłę, która osłaniała dawno zasypane miasto.
En: Winter brought a chilly wind and fog that concealed the long-buried city.

Pl: W oddali widać było zarysy ścian i kolumn.
En: In the distance, one could see the outlines of walls and columns.

Pl: Kiedyś tętniło tu życie, teraz miejsce to było ciche, niemal tajemnicze.
En: Once this place thrived with life, now it was silent, almost mysterious.

Pl: "Kazimierz, naprawdę myślisz, że coś tu znajdziemy?"
En: "Kazimierz, do you really think we'll find something here?"

Pl: – Anya spojrzała z niepokojem na kumpla.
