Ca: Les onades venien suaument sobre la platja de Barcelona.
En: The waves came gently upon the beach of Barcelona.

Ca: Era hivern, i l'aire fresc portava l'olor del mar.

Ca: Les palmeres es balancejaven lentament, com si esperessin el retorn de l'estiu.
