Ca: La neu cobria els cims dels Pirineus, mentre dins del laboratori secret, Enric mirava preocupat per la finestra glaçada.
En: The snow covered the peaks of the Pirineus, while inside the secret laboratory, Enric looked worried out of the frosted window.

Ca: Feia setmanes que un brot estrany havia començat a afectar la comunitat propera.
En: For weeks, a strange outbreak had begun to affect the nearby community.

Ca: Els símptomes eren aterridors: febre alta, debilitat extrema i, en alguns casos, pèrdua de la consciència.
En: The symptoms were terrifying: high fever, extreme weakness, and, in some cases, loss of consciousness.
