Fr: Le bistro français était petit, mais animé.
En: The French bistro was small, but lively.

Fr: Lucie avait une envie de bagel, mais Pierre et Camille discutaient avec passion de la manière de prononcer "croissant".
En: Lucie had a craving for a bagel, but Pierre and Camille were passionately discussing how to pronounce "croissant".

Fr: Pierre dit "cwoo-ah-sahnt" et Camille répondit "croi-sent".

Fr: Lucie soupira et commanda silencieusement son bagel.

Fr: Ils ajoutèrent des croissants supplémentaires à son sac de commandes et payèrent pour son petit-déjeuner.
En: They added extra croissants to her bag of orders and paid for her breakfast.

Fr: Comme le client sortait en remerciant le groupe, Camille se tourna vers Pierre.

Fr: "Tu as gagné", dit-elle.
