Ca: Barcelona acollia un matí assolellat de primavera, agradablement càlid.
En: Barcelona embraced a sunny spring morning, pleasantly warm.

Ca: La sala d'espera de l’hospital estava plena.
En: The waiting room of the hospital was full.

Ca: Olors desinfectants flotaven en l’aire, barrejades amb xiulets de màquines expenedores i xerrameca.
En: Disinfectant smells floated in the air, mixed with the whistling of vending machines and chatter.

Ca: Oriol estava assegut amb un visatge de resignació, però un somriure mischievós amagat.
En: Oriol was sitting with a visage of resignation, but with a mischievous smile hidden.

Ca: Al seu costat hi havia la Marina, observant amb els braços creuats.

Ca: Però, en l’intent, jo...," va aturar-se per donar efecte, "vaig relliscar amb la sorra humida i vaig caure!

Ca: Els churrus tots van volar a l’aire!"
En: The churros all flew into the air!"

Ca: Els riures van trencar el murmuri dels altres pacients, la tensió del moment dissolta per la narració divertida d’Oriol.
