Pl: Lampki migotały w wieczornym mroku, a w oddali słychać było dziecięcy śmiech i szum nart ślizgających się po zboczach.
En: Lights twinkled in the evening twilight, and in the distance, the laughter of children and the sound of skis gliding down the slopes could be heard.

Pl: Kasia z Antkiem od dłuższego czasu planowali tę podróż.
En: Kasia and Antek had been planning this trip for a long time.
