Pl: Zakopane.

Pl: Zima w pełni.
En: Winter is in full swing.

Pl: Tłumy narciarzy przemierzają stoki, między nimi Basia i Krzysztof.
En: Crowds of skiers traverse the slopes, among them Basia and Krzysztof.

Pl: Gdzieś daleko w tle majestatyczne Tatry pokryte grubą warstwą śniegu podziwiają całe to zimowe szaleństwo.
En: Somewhere far in the background, the majestic Tatry mountains covered with a thick layer of snow admire all this winter madness.

Pl: Basia pewnie sunie po śniegu.
En: Basia glides confidently over the snow.

Pl: Od dziecka uwielbia narty.
En: She has loved skiing since childhood.

Pl: Krzysztof, obok niej, stara się nadążyć.
En: Krzysztof, beside her, tries to keep up.

Pl: Widać, że jest nowicjuszem, ale bardzo się stara.
En: It's clear that he's a novice, but he's trying hard.

Pl: Zbliża się Andrzejki, a cała grupa planuje wieczorne wróżby przy kominku.
En: Andrzejki is approaching, and the whole group plans to spend the evening with fortune-telling by the fireplace.

Pl: Na razie jednak czas na kolejną jazdę.
En: For now, it's time for another run.

Pl: Za namową znajomych Krzysztof postanawia pokazać, że jest gotowy na wszystko.
En: Encouraged by friends, Krzysztof decides to show that he's ready for anything.

Pl: Nie wie, że wybrał trasę dla zaawansowanych.
En: He doesn't know that he has chosen a route for advanced skiers.

Pl: "Dam radę", myśli sobie, choć w sercu czuje niepokój.
En: "I can do it," he thinks to himself, though he feels a bit uneasy in his heart.

Pl: Basia zauważa jego błąd, serce bije jej szybciej.
En: Basia notices his mistake, her heart beats faster.

Pl: Wie, że musi mu pomóc, choć to wymaga od niej pokonania własnych lęków.
En: She knows she has to help him, even though it requires her to overcome her own fears.

Pl: Krzysztof rusza pierwszy.
En: Krzysztof takes off first.

Pl: Słońce odbija swoje promienie od śniegu, a wiatr gra mu w uszach.
En: The sun reflects its rays off the snow, and the wind plays in his ears.

Pl: Początkowo wszystko wydaje się dobrze.
En: Initially, everything seems fine.

Pl: Jednak szybko traci równowagę.
En: But he quickly loses balance.

Pl: Ślizga się, przewraca i stacza w dół, robiąc przy tym niezdarną figurę.
En: He slides, falls, and tumbles down, making an awkward figure in the process.

Pl: Basia na swoim stoku zatrzymuje się na chwilę.
En: Basia, on her slope, stops for a moment.

Pl: Odetchnie głęboko i szybko startuje w ślad za Krzysztofem.
En: She takes a deep breath and quickly sets off after Krzysztof.

Pl: Wpada na trasę pełnym pędem, próbując go dogonić.
En: She dives into the route at full speed, trying to catch up with him.

Pl: Nagle jest przy nim, spokojnie podaje rękę.
En: Suddenly she's beside him, calmly extending a hand.

Pl: "Chodź, razem damy radę."
En: "Come on, we'll manage together."

Pl: Krzysztof czuje ulgę.

En: Finally, they reach the bottom safe and sound, though slightly bruised.

Pl: Śmiech słychać z daleka.
En: Laughter can be heard from afar.

Pl: Dotarli na dół.
En: They made it to the bottom.

Pl: Zmęczeni, ale szczęśliwi.
En: Tired but happy.

Pl: Krzysztof przyznaje się: "Nie jestem gotowy na takie wyzwania".
En: Krzysztof admits, "I'm not ready for such challenges."

Pl: Basia z uśmiechem dodaje: "Ale umiem sobie z nimi radzić".
En: Basia adds with a smile, "But I know how to handle them."
