Story Transcript:

Ja: 大阪の精神科病棟には、17歳の空（そら）がいました。
En: In the Osaka psychiatric ward, there was a 17-year-old named Sora.

Ja: 彼は春の光を浴びる大きな窓のそばに座っていました。
En: He was sitting by a large window bathed in the spring light.

Ja: 窓の外には桜の花が満開です。
En: Outside the window, the sakura flowers were in full bloom.

Ja: 空は孤独を感じていましたが、今は学校の卒業式に参加したいという思いで心がいっぱいでした。
En: Although Sora felt lonely, his heart was now filled with the desire to attend his school's graduation ceremony.

Ja: 卒業式は、彼の人生の大切な節目になるはずです。
En: The graduation ceremony was supposed to be an important milestone in his life.
