Story Transcript:

Fr: Le matin était frais, et la vie dans le quartier commençait doucement.
En: The morning was fresh, and life in the neighborhood was starting slowly.

Fr: Dans le petit café au bout de la rue, Pierre, assis dans un coin, lisait son journal.
En: In the little café at the end of the street, Pierre, seated in a corner, was reading his newspaper.

Fr: A une autre table, Sophie écrivait sur son ordinateur.
En: At another table, Sophie was typing on her computer.

Fr: Juliette, la serveuse souriante, s'occupait des clients.
En: Juliette, the smiling waitress, was attending to the customers.

Fr: Le café était chaleureux, avec des couleurs vives aux murs et des croissants frais qui parfumaient l'air.
En: The café was cozy, with vibrant colors on the walls and the scent of fresh croissants filling the air.

Fr: Toute la salle était en émoi.

Fr: Chaque fois que Sophie venait au café, Pierre lui taquinait en demandant si elle allait encore renverser son café.
