Pl: Wiosenne słońce lekko przeciskało się przez chmury nad Tatrami, oświetlając doliny i szczyty.
En: The spring sun gently squeezed through the clouds over the Tatry mountains, illuminating the valleys and peaks.

Pl: Janusz czuł, że serce bije mu szybciej z ekscytacji.
En: Janusz felt his heart beat faster with excitement.

Pl: To był wspaniały dzień na wędrówkę.
En: It was a wonderful day for a hike.

Pl: Obok niego szła Kasia, jego najlepsza przyjaciółka z dzieciństwa.
En: Walking next to him was Kasia, his best friend from childhood.

Pl: Byli w Zakopanem, jej rodzinnym mieście, na Wielkanoc.
En: They were in Zakopane, her hometown, for Easter.

Pl: Śnieg topniał, odsłaniając piękne krokusy.
En: The snow was melting, revealing beautiful crocuses.

Pl: Kasia, ubrana w wygodne buty górskie i kurtkę, opowiadała Januszowi o górach, które znała na wylot.

Pl: Nad ich głowami zaczęły gromadzić się ciemne chmury.
En: Dark clouds began to gather above their heads.

Pl: Początkowo Kasia się zawahała.
En: Initially, Kasia hesitated.

Pl: “Może wrócimy, jeśli zacznie padać?
En: "Maybe we should go back if it starts raining?"

Pl: ” zapytała niepewnie.

Pl: Ale w końcu zgodziła się pod presją Janusza, który chciał być bohaterem tego dnia.
En: But she eventually agreed under Janusz's pressure, who wanted to be the hero of the day.

Pl: Gdy wspięli się na skalny grzbiet, zaczęły padać pierwsze krople deszczu.
En: As they climbed the rocky ridge, the first drops of rain began to fall.

Pl: Wkrótce zerwał się wiatr, a woda lała się z nieba strumieniami.
