Sv: Det var den spirande våren i Sverige.
En: It was the budding spring in Sverige.

Sv: Den svala luften doftade av blommor och nyklippt gräs.
En: The cool air smelled of flowers and freshly cut grass.

Sv: Under jorden, i ett hemligt laboratorium, arbetade Ebba intensivt.
En: Underground, in a secret laboratory, Ebba worked intensively.

Sv: Laboratoriet var fyllt med avancerad utrustning och mystiska maskiner.
En: The laboratory was filled with advanced equipment and mysterious machines.

Sv: Ljuset från de lysande bildskärmarna dansade över väggarna.
En: The light from the glowing screens danced across the walls.

Sv: Ebba, en briljant men mystisk vetenskapskvinna, höll sina experiment hemliga.
En: Ebba, a brilliant but mysterious scientist, kept her experiments secret.

Sv: Hon litade inte på någon utanför laboratoriet.
En: She didn't trust anyone outside the laboratory.

En: But Lukas didn't care about that.

Sv: På Kristi himmelsfärdsdag, när många i Sverige firade helgdagen med familj och vänner, sökte Lukas upp Ebba i hennes underjordiska laboratorium.
En: On Kristi himmelsfärdsdag, when many in Sverige celebrated the holiday with family and friends, Lukas sought out Ebba in her underground laboratory.

Sv: "Lukas," sa Ebba kyligt, när han klev in, "vad gör du här?
En: "Lukas," said Ebba coldly as he stepped in, "what are you doing here?

Sv: Du vet att jag inte litar på folk utanför."
En: You know that I don't trust people from outside."

Sv: "Snälla, Ebba," bad Lukas.
En: "Please, Ebba," Lukas pleaded.

Sv: "Axel är sjuk.
En: "Axel is sick.

Sv: Vi tror att du kan hjälpa honom."
En: We believe you can help him."

Sv: Ebba tittade skeptiskt på Lukas.
En: Ebba looked skeptically at Lukas.

Sv: "Och vad får jag i utbyte?"
En: "And what do I get in return?"

Sv: frågade hon.
En: she asked.

Sv: Lukas stod tyst en stund.
En: Lukas stood silent for a moment.

Sv: Sedan sa han bestämt, "Jag hjälper dig med dina experiment.
En: Then he said firmly, "I'll help you with your experiments.

Sv: Tillsammans kan vi skapa botemedlet."
En: Together, we can create the cure."

Sv: Efter ett ögonblicks tvekan nickade Ebba.
En: After a moment's hesitation, Ebba nodded.

Sv: "Okej, men du måste följa mina regler."
En: "Okay, but you have to follow my rules."

Sv: Deras allians var osäker, men de började arbeta tillsammans.
En: Their alliance was uncertain, but they began working together.

Sv: Dag och natt i det högteknologiska laboratoriet.
En: Day and night in the high-tech laboratory.
