Story Transcript:

Ja: 春の陽射しが眩しい朝、北海道の静かな農場では、ハルトが目を覚ました。
En: On a morning when the spring sunlight was dazzlingly bright, Hokkaido’s quiet farm saw Haru waking up.

Ja: 桜が風に揺れ、空気は新鮮な土の香りで満ちていた。
En: The cherry blossoms swayed in the wind, and the air was filled with the fresh scent of earth.

Ja: 今日は特別な日だ。地元のマーケットが開かれる。
En: Today was a special day; the local market was being held.

Ja: ハルトは農場を守るため、今年の作物を売ることで収入を得ようとしていた。
En: Haru was trying to earn income by selling this year's crops to protect the farm.

Ja: しかし、今年の春の天候は気まぐれで、作物の出来が安定しない。
En: However, this spring's weather was capricious, and the crops' yield was unstable.

En: Deep down, he was anxious.

En: "Thank you, Yuki. With your help, I'm much reassured," Haru smiled, but the worry in his heart didn’t vanish.

Ja: 隣の農家に住むアイコが現れた。
En: Tonari’s farmer, Aiko, appeared.

Ja: 彼女はいつも元気で、ハルトの良き友人であり、秘かに彼とビジネスを組みたいと考えていた。
En: She was always energetic and Haru's good friend, secretly hoping to partner with him in business.

Ja: 「ハルト、私と一緒に店を出さない？もっと多くの商品を提供できるわよ」とアイコは提案した。
En: "Haru, why don’t we set up a store together? We could offer more products," Aiko proposed.

Ja: ハルトは少し考え込んだ。
En: Haru thought about it for a moment.

Ja: 「でも、リスクだし、足りない収入は困る」と彼は不安を打ち明けた。
En: "But there’s risk, and I'm worried about the insufficient income," he confessed his anxieties.

En: "It’s a good result, Aiko. Your idea worked wonders."

Ja: アイコは笑顔で返した。「協力できてよかった！これからも一緒に頑張ろう。」
En: Aiko responded with a smile, "I'm glad we could cooperate! Let’s keep working hard together."

Ja: ハルトは手を伸ばし、アイコの手をしっかり握った。
En: Haru reached out and firmly grasped Aiko’s hand.
