En: The summer was bright and warm.

Sv: Himlen var klarblå över Stockholms skärgård.
En: The sky was clear blue over Stockholm's archipelago.

Sv: Johan, Elin och Lisa var förväntansfulla.
En: Johan, Elin, and Lisa were excited.

Sv: Det var midsommar och de skulle fira på en liten ö.
En: It was midsummer, and they were going to celebrate on a small island.

Sv: Båten var packad med mat, blommor och musik.
En: The boat was packed with food, flowers, and music.

Sv: De anlände tidigt på morgonen.
En: They arrived early in the morning.

Sv: Solen sken och fåglarna sjöng.
En: The sun was shining and the birds were singing.

Sv: Johan satte upp midsommarstången medan Elin och Lisa plockade blommor.
