Story Transcript:

Ca: La brisa fresca de la tardor passava suaument a través dels arbres del Parc Natural del Montseny.
En: The fresh autumn breeze gently passed through the trees of the Parc Natural del Montseny.

Ca: Els fulls, en tons càlids de vermell, taronja i groc, es desplegaven com una catifa sota els peus de Joan, Laia i Pau.
En: The leaves, in warm shades of red, orange, and yellow, unfolded like a carpet under the feet of Joan, Laia, and Pau.

Ca: Celebraven La Castanyada, una de les festivitats més estimades a Catalunya, on castanyes torrades, moniatos i panellets omplen les taules.
En: They were celebrating La Castanyada, one of the most beloved festivities in Catalunya, where roasted chestnuts, sweet potatoes, and panellets fill the tables.

Ca: Joan sempre havia somiat amb ser un aventurer de la natura, però el seu dia a dia es quedava en una oficina.
En: Joan had always dreamed of being a nature adventurer, but his day-to-day life was stuck in an office.

Ca: "Avui els demostraré que sóc tot un expert," pensava, mentre observava el cartell que anunciava un tour de bolets.

Ca: Sense dubtar-ho, va convèncer Laia i a un renitent Pau per unir-se.

Ca: "Jo manejo això," va dir Joan amb confiança malgrat no saber res de bolets.
En: "I've got this," said Joan confidently despite knowing nothing about mushrooms.

Ca: El guia del grup, un senyor anomenat Enric, va començar a parlar dels diferents tipus de bolets, i Joan, amb aire segur, va començar a inventar fets sobre els bolets com si fos un entès.
En: The group's guide, a man named Enric, began to talk about the different types of mushrooms, and Joan, with an assured demeanor, started to make up facts about the mushrooms as if he were an expert.

Ca: "Aquest bolet es diu 'riure alegre', és conegut per fer riure a qui el menja," deia, fent riure tots els participants.
En: "This mushroom is called 'happy laughter,' it's known for making anyone who eats it laugh," he said, making all the participants giggle.

Ca: Laia, sempre disposada a seguir el joc, reia amb complicitat, mentre Pau feia un sospir discret però divertit.
En: Laia, always ready to join the fun, laughed with complicity, while Pau gave a discreet but amused sigh.

Ca: Al mig de la caminada, van trobar un bolet peculiar i molt desitjat, que va cridar l'atenció d'Enric.

Ca: "Això és una Amanita cesaria!
En: "This is an Amanita cesaria!

Ca: Rareza extrema!

Ca: " va exclamar, donant peu a que Joan intentés explicar alguna altra història elaborada sobre el bolet.
En: he exclaimed, prompting Joan to attempt telling another elaborate tale about the mushroom.

Ca: Tanmateix, les mirades i el somriure d'Enric indicaven que sabia perfectament que aquells joves eren aficionats.
En: However, the glances and smile from Enric indicated that he knew perfectly well these young people were amateurs.

Ca: I, en el moment culminant, Joan va decidir dir la veritat.
En: And at the culminating moment, Joan decided to tell the truth.

Ca: "Mireu, la veritat és que no som experts, però som molt bons inventant històries.
En: "Look, the truth is we're not experts, but we're very good at inventing stories."

Ca: "Enric va riure fort, i el grup també.
En: Enric laughed heartily, and so did the group.

Ca: Al final, van proposar que cada grup presentés els bolets trobats amb una història.
En: In the end, they proposed that each group present the mushrooms they found with a story.

Ca: I l'equip de Joan va guanyar per la història més creativa i divertida.
En: And Joan's team won for the most creative and amusing story.

Ca: En acabar la caminada i amb el guardó simbòlic de les històries, Joan va comprendre que no necessitava ser algú que no era per impressionar Laia o Pau.
En: As the walk ended, with the symbolic prize of the stories, Joan realized he didn't need to be someone he wasn't to impress Laia or Pau.

Ca: "No fa falta conèixer-ho tot per gaudir," va dir Joan, somrient amb autenticitat.
En: "You don't need to know everything to enjoy," said Joan, smiling genuinely.

Ca: En el fons del Montseny, envoltats pels colors de la tardor, el trio va decidir celebrar la veritat i la connexió amb uns quants panellets ben dolços de La Castanyada.
